Trends move faster than your team
A viral sound on TikTok lasts 5 days. A meme on Threads, 48 hours. An emerging conversation on LinkedIn, one week. By the time your marketing team has “spotted” the trend, you’re already late — or worse, copying a competitor who got there first.
BAI’s trend hunter is a continuous radar. It captures, classifies and delivers every week only what matters for your niche. Not another generic briefing on “what’s moving this week” — an actionable email with 3-5 things you can do right now.
How we build it
1. Niche setup
We define it with you: which sectors to watch, which competitors, which hashtags, which creators, which subreddits. This is done once and reviewed every quarter.
2. Continuous capture
Scrapers connected to TikTok, Instagram, X, Threads, Reddit, LinkedIn and public APIs. We capture videos, posts and conversations that pass certain thresholds (engagement, growth speed, mentions).
3. AI classification
Every piece goes through Claude 4.5 with prompts specific to your niche. We classify by format (Reel, post, thread), by topic and by actionability for your brand. What doesn’t apply gets discarded.
4. Actionable weekly brief
Every Monday you receive an email/Notion with 3-5 relevant trends. For each one: what it is, real examples, why it matters to you, how you could activate it. It’s not a “trend report”, it’s a to-do list.
Plus: real-time alerts for hot topics
For urgent developments (a competitor launches something, a creator mentions your sector, a controversy breaks out) you get alerts via Slack or email in under 1 hour. You don’t wait until Monday. Real newsjacking, not reactive.
What changes when this works
- You arrive first to 2-3 relevant trends a month instead of copying late.
- Your creative team receives actionable inputs, not generic inspiration.
- Your campaigns and content have “cultural freshness” without anyone spending 8h a day on TikTok.
When we do NOT recommend this
- If your brand is counter-cyclical by strategy (luxury, durable premium products): following trends would damage the brand.
- If your sector is highly technical B2B with long sales cycles (industry, healthcare): “trends” carry little weight in the decision.
- If your creative team already has a strong trendwatching process in place: there is no need to duplicate it.
Stack we use
- Apify scrapers + official APIs (Reddit, TikTok Research).
- Claude 4.5 for contextual classification.
- Notion + Slack for delivery.
- Brand24 / Mention for brand alerts.
We start with a diagnostic session
Before quoting the full setup we run a 90-minute session. We look at your niche, your active channels and your current creative team together, and leave with an honest recommendation: whether this service fits where you are right now, or whether it makes more sense to start with something else.
We don’t charge for that session. If you’re interested, get in touch.
