The traditional full branding process — naming, logo, brand book, applications — used to take anywhere from six weeks to four months, depending on the size of the project. With AI integrated into the workflow at the right stages, the same process can be compressed into two weeks without sacrificing strategic quality.
Phase 1: strategy (days 1–3)
Brand strategy remains primarily human work. Decisions about positioning, value proposition, target audience, and brand identity require judgement and a deep understanding of the business. AI helps here as a research accelerator: sector analysis, competitor benchmarking, mapping available brand territory.
Phase 2: naming (days 4-6)
This is where AI makes its first qualitative leap. Instead of generating ten name candidates by hand, we generate a hundred with AI; we automatically filter them by .es and .com domain availability, by conflicts in the OEPM trademark register, and by social media presence. The ten best candidates arrive pre-validated to the client.
This saves two weeks compared to the traditional process, where half the time is spent finding out that the name you like most has no available domain.
Phase 3: visual exploration (days 7-9)
Creating between twenty and forty visual logo proposals using image models (FLUX, Midjourney), guided by strategic briefs. These are not final choices — but visual territory to explore together with the client, before the designer develops the winning concept.
This phase significantly reduces the number of revision rounds. Instead of presenting three concepts and finding that none of them fit at the meeting, the client can see forty variations and indicate which elements work for them and which do not. With that information, the final concept has a much greater chance of working at the first attempt.
Phase 4: final design (days 10–12)
The human designer takes the validated elements from phase 3 and builds the final logo, the complete colour palette, the corporate typography, and the basic graphic elements. This phase is primarily human, as the quality of the final logo depends on the designer’s judgement.
Phase 5: brand book and applications (days 13–14)
Building the complete brand book, with all elements systematised, and creating application mockups (business card, letterhead, email signature, social media profiles, presentation templates). The mockups are created with AI, which reduces a full day of design work to two hours: creation and refinement included.
The Final Deliverable
Within fourteen days, the client has: a complete brand book (40–60 pages), all logo files in editable formats, a colour palette with exact values for print and digital, corporate typography with a usage hierarchy, a voice guide and brand tone with examples for each channel, and mockups created for all key materials.
What used to be a process of several months is now a structured two-week sprint. That is what we offer in our Branding IA product.
