Every week a new AI marketing tool appears, promising to revolutionise something. Most are variations of the same thing with a different interface. This list cuts through the noise and focuses on the tools that have a real, measurable impact on the marketing processes of a mid-sized company.
For content generation
Claude (Anthropic) — For marketing copy, Claude is currently the model with the best balance between writing quality and the ability to follow complex instructions. Its long context (up to 200.000tokens) is especially useful for working with extensive strategy documents or for maintaining coherence in long-form content projects. Price: 20€/month for the Pro plan, or API from 3$/MTok for Claude Sonnet.
ChatGPT-4o (OpenAI) — Still the most widely used reference globally. Slightly inferior to Claude in writing quality for editorial use, but with better integration across the tools ecosystem (plugins, custom GPTs). Similar price to Claude.
FLUX (Black Forest Labs) — The best image generation model for commercial use in 2025. It outperforms Midjourney in photorealism and in its ability to follow precise composition instructions. Especially useful for product images and ad creatives. Access via API or through platforms such as Leonardo.ai or Replicate.
Suno (for audio) — Music and jingle generation from a text brief. Quality has improved noticeably over the last 6 months. For brands that need audio for ads or video content, it is a real alternative to stock music.
For automation
n8n — We’ve already covered it in our n8n vs Make comparison. Open source, flexible, with native AI nodes. The best option for teams with some technical capability.
Make (formerly Integromat) — The best visual interface for no-code automation. 10€/mes for the basic plan with 10.000 operations. Ideal for getting started.
Zapier — The best known, the most limited for complex workflows and the most expensive per operation. It remains useful for simple integrations between popular tools. Not recommended for complex marketing automation workflows.
For analysis and data
Hotjar / Microsoft Clarity — For behavioural analysis on the web (heat maps, session recordings). Clarity is free and has comparable quality to Hotjar for most use cases.
Supermetrics — Connects all your marketing data sources (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, GA4) and centralises them in Google Sheets, Data Studio or BigQuery. The standard tool for consolidated marketing reports.
Mixpanel — For product analytics and user behaviour with greater depth than GA4. Particularly useful for SaaS and digital products.
For advertising
Madgicx — Meta Ads management platform with integrated AI. The creative insights feature is particularly strong: it identifies which visual and textual elements in creatives correlate with better performance. Price from 44€/month.
Smartly.io — For companies with high advertising budgets (>50.000€/mes), Smartly offers creative production automation and campaign optimisation on Meta and Google at scale. Not for SMEs.
For CRM and sales
HubSpot — The most complete CRM with integrated AI (lead scoring, call summaries, next-action suggestions). Expensive on professional plans (800€/mes), but irreplaceable for companies with complex sales processes.
Apollo.io — For B2B prospecting: database of 200+ million contacts with intent data, automated email sequences and lead enrichment. The alternative to ZoomInfo with the best value for money.
Clay — The most powerful tool for lead data enrichment and personalised outreach automation with AI. It lets you build complex prospecting workflows by combining dozens of data sources with AI-generated messaging.
