Each image is saved in its own format (JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF or BMP). Formats the browser cannot write, such as SVG or AVIF, are saved as PNG.
Pick a percentage or a size in pixels; it is applied to every image when you press the button.
About this tool
When you are preparing an online shop’s catalogue, event photos for a website or every image in a report, resizing them one by one is a waste of time. This tool applies the same size to every image you drop in and hands them back together in a ZIP, with their original file names.
Drag all the images onto the upload area at once or select them in one go. Under “Resize”, pick a scale (it starts at 50%) or switch to “Dimensions” and set, say, 1200 px wide with the padlock closed: each image keeps its own aspect ratio. With “Same format”, every file keeps its type. Press “Resize images”, then “Download all as ZIP”.
The whole batch is processed in your browser, so there is no waiting for uploads or downloads from a server and your photos never leave your device. The only limit is your device’s memory: hundreds of ordinary images are fine, but with very high-megapixel photos it is worth working in rounds. SVG and AVIF files are saved as PNG, and EXIF metadata is removed.
Frequently asked questions
How many images can I resize at once?
There is no fixed limit; it depends on your computer’s or phone’s memory. With very large photos, rounds of a few dozen work best.
How do I make every photo the same width?
In “Dimensions”, enter the width, leave the height empty and keep the padlock closed. They will all share that width, each with its own proportional height.
Are the file names kept?
Yes. Each image keeps its name; only the extension changes if you choose a different output format.
Can I change the format of the whole batch too?
Yes. Choose a format under “Convert to”, such as WEBP, and the batch is resized and converted in the same step.
