About this tool
This converter changes the format of your images without installing anything: PNG to JPG to email a photo, JPG to WEBP to speed up a website, ICO for a favicon or TIFF for a print shop. It writes nine output formats (PNG, JPEG, WEBP, JXL, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO and ICNS) and can resize in the same step.
Drop your images onto the dashed area, click to choose them or paste with Ctrl+V. Pick a format under “Convert to” and adjust its options: quality, lossless mode, background colour, bit depth or icon sizes. Under “Resize” you can keep the original size, set dimensions in pixels or apply a scale. Press the convert button, then download each file or all of them together as a ZIP.
Everything runs in your browser: images are never uploaded to a server and nobody else sees them. You can convert any format your browser can open, SVG included. Re-encoding strips EXIF metadata (camera, GPS), and animated GIF or WEBP files keep only their first frame. To turn an image into SVG vectors, use the image tracer linked from the format picker.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion is done by your own browser on your device, so the files never leave it. Once the page has loaded it even works offline.
Which formats can I convert?
You can open any image your browser can display (PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, SVG, AVIF…) and save it as PNG, JPEG, WEBP, JXL, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO or ICNS.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes. Drop as many as you like; they are converted with the same settings and a button appears to download them together as a ZIP file.
Is the EXIF data in my photos kept?
No. Re-encoding the image removes metadata such as the camera model or GPS location, which is handy if you want to share photos without it.
