About this tool
SVG is ideal for logos and illustrations on the web, but plenty of platforms will not take it: social networks, ad platforms, presentation software or forms that only accept photos. Converting to JPG gives you an image that works everywhere, handy for sending a logo to a client, uploading an infographic or dropping a chart into a document.
Drop your SVG files onto the upload area; JPEG is already selected. Since JPG has no transparency, choose the colour that sits behind the artwork under “Background colour” (white by default). To set the pixel size, use “Resize” → “Dimensions” and enter the width: the vector is drawn at that resolution, so it does not pixelate. Adjust the quality, convert and download.
The SVG is converted in your browser and never uploaded. If the file has no width and height, its viewBox is used; icon-sized viewBoxes are scaled up to 1024 px on the long side. External images or fonts linked from inside the SVG are not loaded, for browser security reasons: embed them or convert text to outlines first. The JPG loses the vector’s scalability.

What background will the JPG have if my SVG is transparent?
JPG does not support transparency, so it is filled with the colour you pick under “Background colour”. It is white by default.
How do I get a large, sharp JPG from an SVG?
Under “Resize” → “Dimensions”, enter the width you need, for example 3000 px. The vector artwork is rasterised at that resolution, so it stays crisp.
Why is some text or an image missing from my SVG?
For security, browsers do not load external fonts or images linked from an SVG. Convert text to outlines or embed the resources in the file itself.
JPG or PNG for converting an SVG logo?
If you need a transparent background or very clean edges, PNG is better. JPG is the choice when a platform only accepts JPG or the graphic has lots of gradients.
